My parents have always taught me the value of working hard, helping people and being a good person. Throughout my life, I have seen the benefits of holding these values close to my heart and have taught my own kids their importance. These values build trusting and long-lasting relationships that I cherish.
I enjoyed a wonderful 17-year management career and what was most important to me was helping my employees and being the best that I could be for them. As my career continued, I became very engaged in the finance industry and enjoyed helping employees with their financial questions. It was at this point I knew that I wanted to help others in a different capacity. I decided that Edward Jones was the company and career path I wanted to follow.
